The Model Railways On-Line website is owned and administered by Graham Plowman.
Graham is a software engineer by profession, specialising in the management and development of Government and large corporate digital transformation web site projects.
He has been a railway modeller since the 1970's. His current layout is 'Ashprington Road', an 8M x 4M layout in 4mm scale representing the South Brent area of the BR(WR) in the early 1960's and early 1980's.
He also models in 009 and 7mm scales.

Paul Plowman is a retired trackwork design engineer who specialised in major permanent way projects. He was responsible for the remodelling of permanent way layouts in connection with major resignalling schemes during the 1980’s and 90’s including London Victoria, London Waterloo, London Fenchurch Street, and the Southampton Area. He was responsible for the reinstated track layout at Belfast Great Victoria Street.
He was responsible for reserving access for the Bluebell Railway into East Grinstead and served on the Bluebell’s Northern Extension planning team until the creation of the Northern Extension Company.
At the time of his migration to Australia in 1998 he held the position of Trackwork Design Engineer for the Thames Valley section of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. In Australia he held the position of Technical Adviser to the New South Wales Government for the alignment and track design for the Epping to Chatswood underground line in Sydney.
